Our Lady of Walsingham, Pray for us

Our Lady of Walsingham, Pray for us

The reconciliation of conflicts and divisions in the families, communities and nations to which we belong, whether those problems like in the past or the present, is a prime objective of prayer in the 'Holy Place' which is Walsingham. From the vision of Charlotte Boyd, Alfred Hope Patten and many others through the years sprang a desire to make Walsingham a centre of prayer. In contrition for the sins that have caused scandal and disunity, past and present, amongst Christians in these Isles and in making a commitment to the true unity which Chirst commands, the prayers of Our Lady are continually sought. This particular work of reparation, reconciliation and reunion continues both at Walsingham and wherever Our Lady is invoked under her ancient English title.
