A vivid and inspiring evocation of the life of one of the most remarkable religious founders of the 19th century. Frances, a volunteer nurse in the Crimean War, discovered that the source of the patience in suffering of many of the soldiers came from their Catholic faith. This led to her own conversion, and to her founding in London of the Poor Servants of the Mother of God. In 2014 she was declared venerable by Pope Francis.

VAT
All prices as set out on the website are inclusive of UK VAT (where applicable). Please note that books are VAT zero rated in the UK. Customers outside of the UK will be responsible, where necessary, for the payment of local VAT, import duties and customs handling charges at point of import.
